Win yourself this awesome set of goodies!
While on tour bands will often find that conversations will return to recurring themes, (hours upon hours couped up in a van will do that). For The Cut Ups it usually revolves around arguments about the best Seinfeld episodes, the best Alan Partridge quotes or even more frequently the subject of the world’s worst band names. Maybe it’s because Jon was in a band called ‘Shoe!’ and Jack was in ‘Spit on the System’ but the love of bad band names has always been a talking point. So to celebrate the release of The Cut Ups new LP ‘Building Bridges, Starting Here’ Common Goals has decided to run a little competition based on this very subject. Up for grabs is a copy of the new LP (it comes with a free CD of the album too), a Cut Ups ‘Building Bridges’ T-Shirt and our very own Common Goals logo T-shirt.
To enter the competition all you need to do is comment on the
photo on our facebook here with what you think is the worst band name you have ever heard. Don’t
worry if someone has already said yours, we will be picking the random winner
out of a hat so you just need to comment to get your name in there! The
competition will close a week today, at 5pm on Friday the 16thof
November and we will do the draw that evening.
So I’ll start things off; ‘Kate Mosh’ anyone? So bad it’s good?
