It was just over a month ago that Nath and I launched
Common Goals and we are so so pleased with how well it has gone. We were both
incredibly anxious in the lead up to the launch, we weren't sure whether we
would even sell a single shirt!
Well anyway it went better than either of us expected and
we ended up selling 30 shirts in the first month! Amazing. Thanks so much to
everyone who bought a shirt, badge, zine or got involved and promoted us on
twitter and Facebook. We really appreciate it.
So who sold what?
The Arteries sold 11 shirts, raising a total of £110 to Mumbles Lifeboat Station.
Great Cynics sold 8 shirts, raising a total of £80 to The Motor Neurone Disease Association.
We sold 10 Common Goals shirts which, combined with donations and zine sales, resulted in £131.28 being raised towards the printing of our next band shirt.
We also managed to sneak a Cut Ups sale in at the end of the month just as they arrived from Get A Grip to kickstart the fundraising for PAPYRUS (Prevention of Young Suicide).
So there we are, a very successful first month. Thanks for the support!
